Find your Jiobit when it's close by or lost
When the Jiobit is connected to your phone via Bluetooth for the first time, you’ll immediately see the Proximity Bar in the Jiobit App. This is the slider at the bottom of the app that typically shows your photo and the wearer's photo. The sliding proximity bar estimates the distance between you (your phone) and the Jiobit. As this distance decreases, the “slider” will get smaller, or the photos will get closer together. As the distance increases, the “slider” will get further apart.
For fun try playing a game of hide-and-go-seek with your child! It’s a great way to demonstrate how this works.
When the Jiobit is in close proximity to you (within ~100ft), you will see this Proximity Bar appear in the app. The map will also show your location since you are together. If you are not Bluetooth connected to the Jiobit the proximity bar is not available. In some cases, if a Bluetooth connection is not available we recommend restarting your phone and making sure that the Bluetooth setting of your phone is enabled.
